Player Name: Noah/Katt
Character: Estados Unidos Mexicanos
Name: Maria Domingaz
Age: 26
Affiliation: AFN
Occupation and/or Rank: Command Sergeant Major of Armed Division
Birthplace: The French Colony of Lapin
Appearance: Standing tall at 5’8”, Maria is rather tall for a lady. She has stark shoulders and even curves to her person. Her eyes are deep emerald and rarely change shade, even with light changes. Her hair is commonly found in a tight bun while she is in uniform but when she is not in the uniform, tends to be down in loose braids. When she's not in uniform she still wears a formal type outfit or just wears her normal uniform(think SHEILD agent wear) and heeled boots that bring her to an even 6'. Maria’s hair is a milk chocolate and looks just as silky as the best Swiss Chocolate and her skin is a soft tan that’s nature as she never suns. (What’s the point after all?) Just below her left eye there is a beauty mark though she tends to ignore it as she feels insecure about the thing.
Personality: Maria is very caring about people. She will put her life down for a complete stranger she has been assigned to protect. The brunette is very work oriented but will spare time for her friends. Maria has a short temper though. Often she will get into fights with people that are too sarcastic for their own good, (though 98% of the time it will remain verbal) and she feels the need to knock them down a few pegs. The Mexican beauty comes off as a tomboy though she is very much girly below her rough exterior. She always makes sure she has enough sleep, food and looks nice. She also loves to dance.
AU History:
Despite being born on a French Colony, her family raised her with the Mexican heart. She has a large family (around seven siblings, see picture above, her with the blue dress.) and learned to take care and respect both those above and below her. While on Lapin she studied a verity of things but was mostly caught reading war books and would beat almost any person in the colony at chess. She developed a strong sense of justice as a result of watching her family grow and some become the target of being bullied.
Around the age of 8 she began to practise using guns, swords and just weapons in general. When asked why she would reply with a chirp of “For my grown up job!”
Indeed it seemed it was, when Maria turned 18 she joined the AFN’s Armed Division and worked her way patiently up the ladder to the position she currently sits in. Maria had learned a lot from her family, her colony and her years in the Armed Division and thus has become a well rounded person, even with her slight temperament issues.
Equipment: Maria carries the required arms of her rank plus an eppi-pen for her low blood sugar. She also has a false eppi-pen full of poison that hides where she won’t confuse the two but can keep her safe if she’s jumped. Along with that she has her glucometer.
Any other Info: Maria never learned women like skills (if we’re being sexist) and fails to cook anything other than rice and noodles. She also collects plush bears in her room, which is not the wisest place to entre when looking for her.
Some extra info on her rank: Enlisted soldiers who attain the distinction of being selected by the Department of the Army for participation in the command sergeants major program are the epitome of success in their chosen field, in this profession of arms. There is no higher grade of rank, except Sergeant Major of the Army, for enlisted soldiers and there is no greater honor.
The command sergeant major carries out policies and standards of the performance, training, appearance, and conduct of enlisted personnel. The command sergeant major advises and initiates recommendations to the commander and staff in matters pertaining to the local NCO support channel.
Perhaps slightly wiser and more experienced than the first sergeant, the command sergeant major is expected to function completely without supervision. Like the old sage of times past, the command sergeant major’s counsel is expected to be calm, settled and unequivocally accurate, but with an energy and enthusiasm that never wanes, even in the worst of times.
Assignable to any billet in the Army, the command sergeant major is all those things, and more, of each of the preceding grades of rank.
The sergeant major is generally the key enlisted member of staff elements at levels higher than battalion. The sergeant major’s experience and ability are equal to that of the command sergeant major, but the sphere of influence regarding leadership is generally limited to those directly under his charge.
