((OOC: Here's the basic idea:
Belle's dad is going to grab her while she and Liz are shopping. Any characters are welcome, but the idea is that he'll succeed in getting a hold of her at least, but I don't want him leaving the port with her. I'd like to have her rescued before he takes off, but if the Axis overcomes him in an epic space battle, that'd be cool too. XD Either way, I want her to end up back on the Axis.))
((Also, dad's POV will be in Italics because I'm not making an account just for him. 8|))

This wasn't a supply run. She'd taken care of that in the wee morning ours for the sake of having time for a pleasure-stroll through the colony with the ship's other female, Elizabeta. The first time she'd really spoken to the woman had been during a routine physical, but that was hardly an ideal bonding experience. Shopping on the other hand...
The colony was busy, which was perfect, of course, for pirates who were trying to lay low. Belle and Elizabeta had found themselves in the gift shop area after going through the streets of clothing vendors. Belle wasn't always a souvenir sort of person, but the medical wing was a little on the drab side. A little color surely wouldn't hinder the healing process for anyone.
"Let's go in here," she suggested, giving her companion's shoulder a tap and pointing at a decidedly friendly-looking store.

It had taken a lot of time and a lot more money to track down his prodigal daughter, though it was the latter that Hans Attenberg was unhappy about. When she'd run off, he'd assumed that she'd no longer be a problem and he could go about his life without the drama of a daughter to further stress him.
He'd been disappointed in the AFN to learn that they hadn't yet managed to start tracking the Axis ship that his daughter was supposedly on. What sort of militia was he supporting?
Still, a rogue geek with too much time on his hands and demanding a high price had managed something similar. Said geek had friends in several colonies, one of whom had managed to catch the Axis in action and log onto it's signal. He hadn't sold out to the AFN - the pirates were too exciting for him - but he did owe Hans' geek-for-hire a favor. Enough of a favor to track the ship for a few weeks before he would have to erase his information to keep the AFN off his case.
So it was that Hans Attenberg found himself at this particular colony, watching a familiar head of blond curls disappear into a boutique with a brunette woman in tow.
