CSM Maria clicked her way down the hallway. She had just gotten over the task of briefing soldiers and guards alike and wanted a small break before she had to go fill out paper work and such. Her hair was tugged into it's normal tight bun, save her bangs that were too short and or stubborn to be pulled back. She looked proper despite that. The Mexican beauty's brows short up to her hair line as she saw the abnormally large amount of people gathered in the break room.
"Lt. Col. Jones, why are so many people are in here?" She asked the only person she truly knew in the room. While the other's were familiar faces she tended not to talk to people outside of her division.

Yao had just about made his escape from the over-crowded break room unnoticed, when just as he made it to the door, he was halted by nearly being knocked down by his second-in-command, Cody. Seeing as the two often worked closely together, they were on a first-name bases, unlike most of his other colleagues.
The Australian explorer looked rather nervous for almost running down his boss. "Gah! Sorry, mate! I didn't see you there," he quickly apologized before peering over Yao shoulder to get a good look at the growing number of AFN members occupying the small break room. "Yao! There a party going on in there, or what?"
Aiyaa! It's too early for all of this noise, aru! he exclaimed internally before letting out a sigh and addressing Cody, "It would seem so, aru..." his verbal tic making itself known due to his increasing stress level so early in the morning. He glanced back as one of Jones' subordinates squeezed past the two to add yet another body to the tight space. Turning back to the explorer he added, "Did you need anything from me before I get out of this noisy place?" Yao really didn't mean to sound snippy, but he was operating on virtually no sleep and and an ever increasing level of stress.
