"I'll keep that in mind, lass," Murph said with a smile and a nod. He could only imagine what sitting in the medical wing must be like. Alone, for the majority of the day, with nothing to do but sit and look at medical supplies. Fun. Oh yes. "Never a problem relievin' friends o' boredom."
He glanced between the two blonds as they had a little back and forth. Okay...this was just a bit awkward. He cleared his throat a bit, hoping to dispel the mild tension. "No, no tour. He heard me hollerin' and stuck his head out to see what the noise was, like you. And aye, he's been very hospitable."
Looking back at Vasch, he gave him a smile to hopefully make him feel more included. He had stepped away from him, it was obvious, and he hoped he'd come back. "Yer not interruptin', lad. Nothin' wrong with a three way conversation."

Clearly Vasch was intimidated, and while Belle found Murph charming and easy on the eyes, neither factor changed who she had her sights set on. She'd interrupted them, after all. Vasch had been talking to him first.
"Why don't we both give you a tour?" she offered. "Then if I get called away, you won't be left high and dry." Belle turned to Vasch. "We can wait for you to change if you want?" As much as Gilbert might enjoy running into the gunner in such a state, she had a feeling that Vasch wasn't to keen on everyone else seeing him this way. Besides, he could get cold.

Biting his lip, Vasch slowly moved back over towards Murph. He thought his sneaking skills were better than that, honestly. He looked up at Murph, glanced over to Belle for a moment and then let his eyes fall on Murph once again. “Are you sure? I wasn’t contributing much to the conversation anyway.”
And he wasn’t really. It was mainly just Murph charming and flirting with Belle. The pretty female doctor on the ship. Breasts didn’t faze Vasch at all. He’d seen to many of them in his life time. Truth be told, he’d never liked women really. There were only three that he had met that he had respect for. Katya, Sophie and his sister. Vasch was much too jealous of women to be even remotely straight or attracted to them. There were only three males at the brothel he had worked at for so long and the rest of the prostitutes were women. And Vasch resented them because of the money they made.
Vasch huffed a little and crossed his arms over his chest. He could save his pride and go change into a sensible pair of pants. Or, he could be stubborn and keep these shorts on. Well, with him and Gil sneaking around and screwing on almost every surface on the ship, either the crew sees his assets now, or when he and Gil finally get caught.
Vasch decided that seeing them now rather than later would be the best choice and let his stubbornness get the best of him. “This is fine. I don’t need to change.” He turned to look at Murph. “Let’s start this tour, shall we?”

This was one thing Murph didn't like about charming people left and right: sometimes people felt left out if he left them to go talk with other people. It wasn't like he was deserting them on purpose. On the contrary, he just wanted to make everyone feel welcome so all parties present could partake in a laugh, maybe some beer, and a bit of friendly chatter. He was easy to please. But when things like this happened, and he could feel the tension between two people, he always sought ways to ease it. Vasch obviously didn't appreciate Belle's entrance, and he had seemed fine enough with their previous conversation, so when he was asked about going on a tour, he figured this would be a good way to bring Vasch back into the little circle.
"Aye, that sounds like a grand idea. I took a little tour meself earlier...got a bit lost...but I know where to find the kitchen." That was essential. He knew where his room was, too - maybe not how to get back to it, but that was okay - and the engine room, and a vague notion of where the medical room was, but that couldn't be the entire ship.
Murph glanced over at Vasch with a little grin, pouncing on the opportunity to bring him back into the conversation. "I was hopin' you'd say that, lad. Never hurts to have two beautiful blonds showin' you around, aye?" He offered one arm to Belle and the other to Vasch, more than willing to skip off down the yellow brick road with these two by his side. Just needed a little dog and a cowardly lion.

Belle only hesitated for a moment when Murph offered his arm. Why not? It was just a fun little tour of the ship with a barely-dressed gunman and a very friendly Irishman.
"Why don't we just head the way I came and go from there?" she offered.

Vasch couldn’t help but to stare at Murph for a few moments, his cheeks turning a lovely shade of pink. Beautiful? Him? He hadn’t been called that in a long, long time. It had been years since anyone had used that term to describe him. He’d been called ‘cute’, ‘sexy’, ‘hot’ and ‘a hot piece of ass’, many times over the years. But ‘beautiful’ was few and far between. He looked away from Murph, trying to shake off the shock. Murph probably didn’t really mean it. It was probably just another charming mechanism. No one ever really meant that.
Hesitating for a moment, Vasch took the offered arm. He looked back up at Murph and gave him a weak little smile. He nodded a little at Belle’s statement. “That… would make sense. Everyone needs to know where the medical wing is. This ship has a history of being a little… accident prone.”

Murph's smile broadened a bit as both Belle and Vasch took his offered arms and agreed to the tour. And hey, even the same direction. The minor tension in the air just a few moments before seemed to be disappearing already. He loved when things worked out this way.
Hoping to keep them moving in the right direction, he nodded in agreement as well. "You two know the ship better'n I, so please, any way ye think is best. I'll keep ye both close so I don't get lost again." In truth, he had started to get a bit worried before he had happened upon the kitchen, since he had no idea how to get back to his room and was out of Guinness. Now that the drought his flask had been suffering was over and he had two tour guides, he felt like nothing could go wrong.
"Aye, best to know where to go if you get a bit banged up," Murph said with a wise nod. "I've had me share of trips to medics for one reason or another." Bottles being broken over his head, chairs taken to his back, particularly buff guys punching him. All in a day's bar fight, of course.

Belle found herself laughing at Murph's comments.
"Well at the moment Gilbert holds the record for the most visits to me. I don't know if you met him - he's the captain's brother." She trotted alongside Murph as they neared the infirmary. "Not that you should compete with him but... well.. thanks to him it's hard to surprise me."
She paused when they reached the door, causing their merry little jaunt to come to a halt.
"Do you want to see the inside?"

Gilbert had been thinking about being sexy tonight. And even though he was sexy every night (and day, and morning, and afternoon...), he felt like being especially sexy tonight. So, he went to Vasch. He wasn't sure why, but he just looked really fucking hot with Vasch. Maybe it was because Vasch was really hot too, so they complimented each other.
He would have gone earlier, but shaking hands gave him a hint that he needed to stabilize himself. So, fifteen minutes and a needle in his arm later, he was walking down the hall, whistling to himself on the way to see Vasch-
He heard voices around the corner and paused. Turning, his eyes went to Vasch, then to whatshisname, then to Belle, then to Vasch's ass, then to Vasch, then back to whatshisname, then to Belle, and finally on Vasch's ass again.
"Are we having some kind of hallway orgy or something?" He announced his presence in such a wonderful and very Gilbert-like fashion, hands in his pockets as he strode up to them. "Vasch, you look hot. You...not so much." He nodded at Murph, hten looked at Belle and grinned. "And you look nice. So what the hell is going on?"

Green eyes narrowed a little and he looked over to the other blond. Vasch didn’t understand why everyone always gave Gilbert such a hard time. Yeah, he could be a dick at times but there were times where he could be so sweet. “Gilbert’s an idiot, but he’s not that bad. He’s just a little accident prone.” And yes, since they were… whatever they were now, Vasch felt an obligation to stand up for Gilbert.
Vasch nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Gilbert’s voice. He hadn’t expected Gilbert to be anywhere around, honestly. Vasch resisted the urge to let go of Murph’s arm. What would the other two think if he let go of Murph’s arm because of Gilbert’s arrival? It wasn’t as if anyone suspected that he and Gilbert had anything going on and he wanted to keep it that way for now. He figured Gilbert did as well. It was rather fun sneaking behind everyone’s backs. And Vasch wasn’t quite ready to end the game just yet.
He looked over his shoulder, blushing slightly. “Oh. Um… thanks, Gilbert. And we’re showing our new crew mate around the ship.” He shifted slightly, poking his ass out just a little bit more to tease Gilbert. It’s not like Murph and Belle would really notice that.

Murph made a mental note not to surpass this Gilbert person in trips to visit Belle. The last thing he wanted was to be a leech, another mouth to feed, -and- a waste of medical resources. He was pretty sure he'd already be to blame for the lack of alcohol on the ship. He didn't want to be the one to use up the last band aid, too.
"Aye, Ah won' be tryin' ta take Gilbert's current standin' from him. As pretty and kind as ye are, lass, Ah don' really want ta be seein' much o' ye and yer room, with all respect," he said with a little smile. "O'course, passin' in the hallways and chattin' at mealtimes is more'n welcome."
Murph turned his attention to Vasch as the smaller man stood up for Gilbert and, just as he was about to comment on never meeting this person, a fourth voice joined in the conversation. Murph glanced up to see Gilbert standing a few feet before them and gave him a little nod with a pleasant smile, despite the rather rude greeting.
"Ah think our shoes would have ta be off for it to be one, technically," he said. "Or maybe shoes 'n socks. Either way, nay, just gettin' a tour of this...lovely...flying metal. Ship. Right, that's what it is."

Speak of the devil, Mr. Accident Prone himself was right behind them! Belle smiled flushed at his compliment and the orgy comment, regardless of not taking either the least bit seriously.
"Gilbert, this is Murph," she introduced. "We were showing him to the infirmary, in case he gets shot, hung over, or anything else." The temptation to tease the albino was strong, but she resisted. Even if he was a troublemaker, he was also the captain's brother. "Did you need something from there? Or maybe you'd like to help with the tour?"

Ah. So there was a new person on board. Did Gilbert know this? No, of course not. Because people didn't think to tell Gilbert these things until he ran into them in the hall and though there was some kind of intruder, or he caught them talking to someone, like this very moment. Why didn't people think to tell Gilbert these things? Mostly because he knew that they thought that Gilbert was worthless and useless and wasn't worth telling these things.
It pissed him off. Just a touch.
Sometimes he wondered what would happen if he just left. Didn't tell anyone. Didn't leave a note. Just took one of the shuttles down to a planet and started completely new. Of course, his brother would be frantic, but he wondered about anyone else -
Oh. Belle was talking. She was introducing him to Murph. He smiled and offered his hand for a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you," he said with a surprisingly pleasant voice. He then looked back to Belle.
"Hm? No, I'm fine. I don't need anything at all. Just, you know, walking around. Seeing what there is to do. You know." he smiled at her, then looked at Vasch. "Are you doing anything right now?"

Vasch could tell that Gilbert wasn’t really paying much attention to Murph. Or Belle for that matter. Then again, he himself didn’t pay much attention to her either, really. Sure, she stitched him up after the incident he and Gilbert had with Jones and the motorcycle. And yes, he had gained a little respect for her then but… she was still a woman. And in his mind, she would tease him or put him down eventually. That’s what he’d grown up around, after all.
Sensing that it was safe enough to do, Vasch let go of Murph’s and turned sideways, looking over to Gilbert. He hooked his thumbs in the belt loops of his shorts, making them ride down ever so slightly to reveal the barest hint of the lace trim on his thong. He was quite good at teasing. He’d been a hooker once, after all. He knew all the tricks of the trade.
Shrugging a little, he tilted his head towards Gilbert, a faint smirk on his lips. “Well… I was helping Belle show Murph around. Why? Do you need me for something?” He looked over to Belle and then back to Gilbert. “I’m sure Belle could show Murph around the infirmary while we talked.”
Green eyes glanced back over to Belle, giving her a tiny little smile. “Right, Belle?”

Murph shook Gilbert's hand with a smile, giving him a bit of a nod as well. "Nice ta meet ye, Gilbert." He let the other man take center stage for a bit, content to get to know him a little just by watching him. It was obvious he was a cocky guy just from the way he held himself and, while he wasn't brimming with qualities that screamed 'I'M IMPORTANT' to Murph, it was easy to read that that's exactly the kind of aura he projected.
Murph had come across lots of people like Gilbert in his travels, and most of them were actually cowards who hid behind a huge wall of lies to make people afraid of them and thus respect them. He had the feeling, though, that Gilbert was a cut above those sad people. He had heard the captain didn't settle for second best in any regard, so even his brother would have to be the real deal to get the position he had on the ship.
As the conversation switched to Vasch heading off with Gilbert, the Irishman glanced back to Belle. "Ah wouldn't mind a tour of yer lovely 'office'," he said with a smile. "Get ta know the place in case Ah end up payin' ye a visit."
